Haven't found another keyboard that I like so I'm sticking with it as long as it will last.

Wow, I'm sure I had one of those as well.
Ger yourself a blackwidow,you won't regret it.
Supports some macro's,mechanical keyboard, comes with or without back light (one without is cheaper),feels heavy and sturdy and it won't slide around on your table.

Don't let the plainness fool you.
i am considering a black widow for my next kb
Just make sure you ask them to check if all the keys work correctly.
Sometimes the keys can get stuck because of some of the edges not getting cut after production. This can easily be fixed my taking out the key and just pulling it off.
Good to know. Is that specifically for the blackwidow or in general?
There are a few differences such as weighting and the actuation points. I like the idea of browns as they are a mixture of gaming and typing needs
If I had to choose between looks and the keys I wanted I think I would be stumped...
I'm rocking a Cherry MX Brown CM Storm Quickfire Pro. Its the best R800 I've ever spent on any peripheral, and I can type as quietly or as loudly as I want. Also, its rock solid and the partial backlighting works really well for late-night gaming. I also like the fact that it does not require drivers to be installed. Cooler Master uses the same OEM as Ducky, which is currently very popular in the UK.
Does the Quickfire have a numpad? I remember that it doesn't. I neeeed a numpad![]()
Indeed it does. And if I only hit the keys to the "bump", before the switch goes down fully, its almost silent.
Oh the Rapid does not have the numpad...
Nice keyboard![]()
Read that again...CM Storm Rapid..not the CM Storm Quickfire Pro in the video.did you not watch the video???
it even shows the numpad
