MG dieing ?

No offence PC, but its a bit of a silly thread you started considering there is always activity on the site not to mention there is obvious growth with regard to users, I mean I haven't seen you on here for awhile so not sure how you can make a call that it is dying.

I check in a couple off time a day just to see if there is nothing new...but like the guys said its gaming and it takes time.

MG is not dying, quite the opposite in fact.

What happened to Dixie and MH anyway?
They gone for good or are they just very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very...
busy?

I can safely and happily report that MyGaming is not dying.

Our traffic is looking very good, and with people returing from holiday over the last 10 days or so there has been a nice pick up.

As for the forum, traffic, it is also picking up and nearly back to where it was before December. Some of the regular Thread Killer users have left which may make things seem a bit quieter, but I think the rest of the forum is doing just fine.

I would actually prefer not to have a gaming site which relies predominantly on a spam thread for its user activity, so as far as I am concerned everything is cool.

Good news, and a forum with less spam is far better than any busy forum with tons of spam.

From where I stand, I am seeing more members and more relevant posts than before. All good news :)

Hope that tinman doesn't mind me posting this but here is proof that MG is in fact seeing some considerable growth, which is very impressive considering the holiday season was not too long ago.

MH is gone for good.

I think MH quit because he can't bear to be on the same forum as me. Apparently he never figured out how to use the ignore function. He still posts under my articles, though, bless him.

Some of the post whores aren't here anymore. Like MH and Dixie. I miss them. :(

Eh and we need more new threads to comment on but with gaming there's only so much.

Saying all that, I do believe that things will pick up again.

Are they gone for good or just been MIA for a while?

Why is that? Did he say why? Surely his supposed "feud" with Azimuth couldn't be the sole reason.

I don't know if he would like me telling. Basically it comes down to Azimuth and MH not liking each other. They had a go at each other and I believe they both got warnings. Tinman and MH then pm'd each other after which MH decided that he will leave.

I'm one of those people who do not like conflict and I can see everyone's point. Hell I wish that everyone can just be nice to each other and be friends and all that. But I know that not everyone get along. MH and Azimuth are both strong figures. I mean, me and others like me are pretty much invisible on forums. MH and Azimuth are two of a kind in some ways (oh how they will hate me for saying that). They are like unstoppable trains. Unfortunately in this case they weren't going in the same direction.

It's a shame really. I like them both, as I am sure many others do too. But yes, I understand why MH left. I still hope that maybe one day Tinman, Azimuth and MH can all have a drink together and laugh at the silliness of it all. It's unlikely that it will happen though. But we can always hope.
