Microsoft is aiming for a late July 2015 release for Windows 10

Looking forward to it.
Ditto. Lots of promising sounds coming out of the tech media about it. To be honest, other than brief and quickly reversed flirtations with Windows ME and Windows Vista, I've never really had issues with Windows as an OS. I think a lot of the criticism Microsoft have got in the past for it is just petty anti-M$ fanboyism. I'm sure, not matter how good or solid Win 10 is, they'll all come out of the woodwork again when it is released.

Anyone else notice this on their taskbar this morning?
"Reserve your Windows 10 upgrade now" it says. Looks like it will be pushed down as a normal Windows Update, as opposed to a standalone download?

Just announced:

Today, I’m excited to share the availability date for Windows 10. In fact, I thought I’d let Cortana, the world’s most personal digital assistant, share the news. You can ask Cortana for the answer! You can ask Cortana for the answer, or if you don’t have a Windows phone or a PC running the Windows 10 Insider Preview handy – you can hear it for yourself here:
