Microsoft lifts Windows Store ban on rated 18 games

Haha, more like they were banning the top games of the year with that policy. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.
 
Can I just ask, does this only apply to buying the game through Windows own app store? Does it have any effect on a Steam installation of the game?
 
Microsoft is realising quickly they are losing a lot of developer market share to other platforms, with restrictive practices like these they are just shooting themselves in the foot even more.

I signed up as a Windows Store developer and you need a fracking degree and a US tax lawyer to fill out the US tax form section correctly, and all they tell you after you fill in the form is 'your form is invalid' (it is actually being processed). Hundreds of developers are moaning about this on the forums, seriously MS needs to catch a wake up and make themselves more developer friendly.
