Might and Magic Heroes 6

What does make heroes3 so cool, because i here and read, that's like The best heroes made....lol!!! graphics aint that good 4me lol!!!...even though i have played rpg's , even worst lol....

My goodness, I hope English isn't your first language since Google translate would have done a better job of constructing those sentences, maybe you should use that in the future.
 
I know, just...that...what makes Heroes 3 , that great of a game...since all others after that, does not come close to how awesome it is...

Well it had a very long and great campaign. Had an awesome story and a huge selection of maps. It had a very easy map tool.
It had 9 castles. Huge selection of artifacts and there where ones where you could combine them into awesome artifacts.

The expansions added a lot of new maps and campaigns, a lot of creatures about a 140 of them if I am not mistaken. Great music that adds to the game and a great castle screen. That was pure art:)

You are in luck, the music that featured in Heroes is in number 6. Its as though they took a greatest hits compilation and put that as the soundtrack for the game. Quite nice actually.
Heroes VI - 5 castles 7 tiers, 2 units per tier so that is 70 playable units. I have seen neutral units but not too sure how many are actually there.
I quite like the story of Heroes VI, however I only played the story of number 1 as I am a sucker for the custom skirmishes that is Heroes of Might and Magic

Oh my GOD! That is awesome. Dude thanks:) Yeah loved the single scenarios. H3 had such a huge collection.
 
Been playing this game the whole weekend, its pretty awesome! I've only ever played Heroes 5 though so i supposed its not much comparison according the heroes 5 bashing going on here lol :P

must say though the game is quite hard.. not really suited for the type of gamers who like to explore every corner etc.. thats the only complaint though!
 
I'll wait for some more feedback before I pick this up. Did really enjoy Heroes 5, so would like to give this a go. The more feedback I get though, the closer I come to making my decision.
 
Reviews are generally very favorable though.
I think however the more people like Heroes 5 over number 3 are more likely to like number 6.
Well I absolutely love this game though. Not often that a game makes it onto my home pc wallpaper lol
 
Hoping to pick up a copy of this as well! I have a copy of Heroes 5 which I haven't even tried yet, but maybe this is a good time! :-D
 
I'm really thinking of getting this aswell, but so many games on the table to choose from and only so much geldjies :(
I really likeed HOMM 3, but i played that a long time ago.

@ Cobalt The game is set 400 years before the events of Heroes 5 so if you are looking for a continuation from the story it won't help as the stories from what I know are separate

LOL...Thanks. After looking at it again I realised that I have played heroes 5! LOL. Now just deciding whether to get HOMM 6 or Kings Bounty Platinum....?

Just a heads up Kings Bounty Platinum stock was recalled by BT Games head office, so if you intend from buying from them then Heroes 6 it is

Love the Goodies inside....lol!!!
So who would like to have a game of multi-player once i'm all sorted and all ;) ?
 
I have discovered that I am pretty terrible at this game, so I really need to get stuck into the campaign and grow on some strategies that I have to get better at this game.

Well i wont call myself a veteran, but have been playing it since Heroes 5, and have been loving it.
Haven't started the campaighns yet, just a solo map that came with the Deluxe Edition, where you start off with the necro-faction.
Still at Dynasty ranked level, just got one of my Dynasy weapons to rank 2, heehee.
What i'm doing is just building up my dynasty weapon levels, but i only have two that came with mine both for magic-type hero.
Guess i have to start up that prologue soon, and oh yes reason why i started with that map first was because of certain order in the plots.

Yeah just check out strategies on the official forums.
