Minecraft Server

Hi guys I'm desperately looking for a South African Minecraft server to play on.

All the ones I try are full of plugins and all sorts of worlds/minigames/etc and I'm looking for a close-to-vanilla experience.

Anyone know of a decent, updated one to play on?

Getting to the point where I'm considering hosting one.
 
Im keen if you manage to find one! Been playing the Pocket version, and its not bad, but doesn't compare to the pc...
 
The problem with the pocket edition is the lack of skins, smaller maps, and sometimes (but they have tried to fix it with every update) teh lack of objects.

Ya you right... The main concern for me was the map size... after playing on PC and never being forced to "stop" anywhere i was quite upset when i realized the limitations of the Pocket edition maps...

The Minecraft servers? Depends which ones you play on. There are some with over 1000 people on at a time...

In SA I haven't found a decent server, hence the thread.
 
I Think all good servers are kept secret, and it is our goal to search for them and share the achievement, so if you know of a good server please share with us:cry:
 
I see on the NAG forums there's a new one. It sounds like a close to vanilla server, just with basic plugins like item protection and towny.

Sorry to disturb you, but did you have a look at the server, if you did please tell me if it is worth it.
I really like playing minecraft on xbox and have moved on to pc. I would have a go at rust, but I just want to enjoy the beautiful colors of minecraft online for the last time.

Do any of you know of a good MINECRAFT SERVER???

Yes I'm playing on it. It seems pretty good. It's new so you can start fresh....
