Minecraft troll unleashes cop-storm on moderators house

Read this story on Kotaku last night... some people. Kind of sad that this has become a "thing" in the states. Dont these people know they are wasting the time of the authorities... oh wait they dont think, they are all fsking idiots.
 
This should be a mandatory 5year prison sentence as it's very possible you could land up killing someone. Also anonymous texts for a murder, like some kid hiding in his bathroom is going to go through the trouble of hiding his identity while trying to get police to his house. Law enforcement should maybe also stop being so easily trolled.

Yeah but Imagine if they dont respond and it turns out to be true....
 
I'm not saying they question everything, just be a little more cautious before they go full auto on the situation.

I agree but where do u draw the line? Who gets to make the call? 9 out of 10 times it will be the right call but that 1 time someone makes the wrong call u just know it will be plastered all over the media, discrediting the institution.
I would say rather spend resources on finding the trolls.
