Facebook Went Down, FIVE People Called 911

Following a surprising amount of phone calls to emergency services last night, East Bay dispatchers are requesting that local residents stop calling in to complain about social media networks becoming temporarily unavailable.
Claycord.com reports that following a brief Instagram outage, Facebook also went down, causing panic among several residents.
Facebook’s outage was reportedly caused by an internal glitch, but nevertheless raised concern in the East Bay, prompting five people to call in to ask when the sites would be back online.
“Our lines are [sic] dedicated to handle life and death calls, and even though Facebook is important to a lot of people, it’s not a matter of life and death when it stops working,” the dispatcher said. “One caller even called back to tell me I was being rude because I told her it wasn’t a life threatening emergency.”

What is the world coming to this is insane it's probably those people that live on welfare and don't work and just browse facebook all day to watch what everybody is doing that has lives
 
That is something else.... makes you think of what other ridiculous things people must call 911 for...

"I'm trying to youtube cat videos but the videos wont load, help!"
 
Facebook...I find myself going to it less and less.

One think made me laugh the other day, know these two ppl who constantly go on about how hard they work, how they have no time to even eat lunch or go make a cup of something. Yet they have copious amount of time to posts all kinds of crap, including those questionnaires that tell you what is your fav color, what animal power you are, what this and that.

Cant fathom how ppl can sit for so long in facebook....I'll go bonkers.

Yea same I cant even remember the last time I posted a status, its literally just an image hosting sight for me.

Lol I've seen plenty of people who have jobs just sitting on fb all day lol.
