Infinite Crisis, a multiplayer online battle arena title featuring characters from the DC Universe, is the next project from Lord of the Rings Online developer Turbine, the studio revealed in a press release this morning.

The title, the debut trailer for which is posted above, will feature the heroes you'd expect from a DC video game adaptation; Green Lantern and The Flash are specifically mentioned in the press release. It will also feature variations on those characters, pulled from the franchise's "multiverse," such as Nightmare Batman and Gaslight Wonder Woman, the latter of which is assumedly pulled from Brian Augustyn's Gotham by Gaslight one-shot.

The game will be published by Warner Bros. Interactive, and will be free-to-play when it launches later this year for Windows PCs. You can sign up for the game's closed beta on the official Infinite Crisis website.
