Mobile Virtual Reality

So I walked into a mall this weekend, and walked passed a Samsung S7 Stand where they were promoting the new Samsung S7 VR.
I am not sure, but to me it looked stupid and like a joke. I have used the Oculus before and it was insane and I loved it.

I just feel these S7 VR sets are more a gimmick than anything else. Am I the only one that feels this way?
Has any1 used it and what was your experience?

I'll let you know when mine arrives. Pre-ordered my S7 and wont say no to a freebie. Can only claim it once I get my phone though and then it will take 4-6 weeks to deliver.

If it's just a gimmick I'll probably end up selling it once the novelty has warn off.

But you did not buy it as a point of wanting to get the VR as priority? Very curious to know how it is

Nope. I was long overdue to upgrade my S4 and the VR is just a nice bonus.

I'm not the review writer type though but will report back once I've given it a try.
