Modders Enable Cockpit View in GRID 2

Codemasters decided to remove Cockpit view from GRID 2 as, according to its metrics, only five percent of players actually used it. So a group of modders have decided to use their skills to re-enable it, ah the power of the Internet.

A group over on the Race Department forums have created the mod–you can download it from the forum. You can check it out in action in the short video below.

Since this video was released the mod has been upgraded with sharper interior textures like the ones seen in the screenshot above.

I find the lack of detail too distracting. What are your guys opinions on this game so far? Steering looks a bit twitchy.
