Here is an exclusive sneak peek at the brand new modern warfare 2 'stimulus package'(DLC)slated for release around spring this year. WOO. more maps :D and someday i hope to be like some of you, lol. working in offices and browsing the net. (hopefully ill be a game developer)

As you may remember a video surfaced not too long ago showing off a new game mode, Global Thermonuclear War, that was possibly going to be released alongside the upcoming map pack DLC this spring (the Xbox 360 will receive it first then the PS3 will get it shortly after). Another video has now been gaining the attention of many gamers as the video’s creator claims to know each new map and that they will have them ready to play in one week. Check out the video here.

Here’s a list of the map titles shown in the video:

* mp_abandon
* mp_compact
* mp_complex
* mp_dcwh (The White House)
* mp_revolt
* mp_storm

The next four are Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare maps remade for Modern Warfare 2:

* mp_shipment
* mp_crash
* mp_vacant
* mp_overgrown

MW2 DLC Dated for the X360

Infinity Ward has finally let out the first piece of information regarding the new Modern Warfare 2 DLC.

Well, the time has come. We now have official confirmation from @fourzerotwo that the Modern Warfare 2 DLC is coming. On March 30th, all cases of Mapathy will be cured, according to the website.

Maps

* Bailout; An overrun "modern" apartment complex with really long sidelines. It's a wide map with a lot of great flanking positions. Parking lots and courtyards connect it all
* Salvage; An old abandoned snowy junkyard with piles of trash, debree, vehicles and warehouses. It's really fast, being one of the smallest maps in the map pack, great for FFA and smaller type team based games.
* Storm; It's in the middle of a rainy downpour and an intense thunderstorm that's rolling in with some other weather effects. It has all these abandoned warehouses that have been turned into outposts for military units. It's a medium-large sized map which is great for any objective type of game.
* Crash/Overgrown; Upped the graphics, added some new stuff that you see all across MW2.

Salvage is a map that is made after listening to the community. It's a map for the non-camping type of gamer. You're either in the fight or you're about to, not much time so sit around and camp since it's such a fast paced map.

The DLC will also be accompanied with a small playlist update:

* HC HQ pro will be updated with new maps in this playlist. Maps like Invasion, Skidrow, Highrise and Terminal will be added to this list.
* HC Moshpit will also be added in this small update.
