Once a player decides to do prestige he drops down to level 1 again, his rank emblem will then change. So there will be guys that are lower level than you,but are of higher rank, its not hack.

The hack that everyone refers to is a level 10 prestige hack, to reach this a player needs to reach level 70 ten times, each time starting back at level 1 working his way up to lvl 70 again.

Yeah the guys with lower rank but different emblems are the guys who decided to prestige...... something I soooo do NOT want to do. :rolleyes:
 
PRestige starts you over at level 1, so you have to work your way up all the way from scratch again, but you get new challenges, weapon slots, emblems and titles.

Once the player enters Prestige Mode for the first time in Modern Warfare 2, they will be rewarded with a sixth custom class slot. The same occurs at every odd prestige level, so a total of five additional custom class slots can be unlocked by Prestige Level 9. In addition, any earned titles and emblems obtained before entering Prestige Mode are not lost. You will get some Prestige Challenges to level up faster and get some new Callsigns. The challenges unlocked through Prestige for each gun persist to the next Prestige level (the kills and headshots for each gun's Mastery and Veteran challenges do not reset). This exception also applies to the challenges in the Prestige category that deal with killstreaks (getting a certain number of kills with a specific killstreak reward). Titles, emblems, and accolades are also unaffected. Certain statistics in 'Barracks' are also unaffected, such kill/death count and win/loss count.

What happens after Prestige 10 though??? does that mean that Prestige mode does therefore not apply anymore????
 
Seem to be speding at least 50% of my time trying to get a game going....SO annoiderated with IWNet, but enjoy the game - like a between a rock and hard place (another rock?)

Many many things..... 20 minutes trying to find a game, getting chopper gunner four times yesterday only to be kicked to desktop or have the host drop before I can use it, playing like my ass, etc, ect. :rolleyes:

I was not a happy camper yesterday.
