Modern Warfare 2 PC delayed

bleh...

first no hardened or prestige edition for pc and now a delay...

guess all acti/blizz sees the pc for is wow...

I just needed a new game to lan at the OC LAN in November. I'm seriously bored with CoD4 multiplayer.
 
Ag well i guess its better to release late than soon. That way we wont have to sit through hours of downloading patches for stupid bugs.
 
Hey, at least i dont have to buy the game :P. Won it at the rage comp, will have it like 2 days before u all get it. unless u also have it on pre order :(. I shall be the first person to host on the server :)
 
If i could back hand them i would.... But usually the delay is for a benefit... Cod4 never had alot of patches cause they tried to Clean it up like now...
 
Also, another thing that bothers me they have not release minimum PC specifications. A lot players will want to upgrade PC's just for this. They need minimum PC specifications. I just hope its not more than two weeks :(

Infinity Ward unsure of Modern Warfare 2 PC delay

Even Infinity Ward's unsure if the PC version will be delayed,Earlier rumours suggested that the PC version of Modern Warfare 2 will be delayed till November 24th but even Infinity Ward is unsure.

Infinity Ward Community Manager Robert Bowling said on his Twitter page:

“I know our PC players are anxious for official word. I am as well. I will let you know as soon as I do. I promise. When I left, it was fine.”

The follow up to one of the biggest shooters of all time was scheduled to arrive on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on November 10th but it’s looking increasingly likely that it may be delayed.

We’ll let you know as soon as official word slips out.

What really worries me about this release is that it turns into another COD waw, which lets be honest was a huge disappointment. I remember the build up to WAW was massive and everyone, me included, rushed out to buy it, only to find that it, well sucked.

WAW just hit a different market, that's all. It was a really good and enjoyable game for a lot of people.
 
Modern Warfare 2 will not suck. Also, WAW and MW2 are made by two different development companies.

From what Ive seen the game play looks really awesome in Modern Warfare 2 :D
