I was expecting buildings to be torn apart, fire and death... they just fall over dead?

Played online now for few hours and its brilliant...Sometimes you get a bit of lag but its better than i thought...The only real irritating thing is this migrating hosts in the middle of a session...
Anyway...Whoever is playing today on steam add me ill be online 24/7 for the next few days : fridgevr
And this game is really brilliant...pity about the dedicated server part but it seems it works fine so far...and the single player is one of the best ive played...the terrorist mission is brilliant...

LOL as I said, I don't have the game myself, I'm going to a friend who received it this morning. I will be raiding his pc, Klipdrift in hand to deliver an unbiased (and somewhat drunkenly review)

here's my take on the whole situation
ok first impressions time...
Sp good, but gonna be hella short. fun but that's it.
Mp: defined by waiting ages for a game to get going. you get plonked in where ever IWnet decides to put you. yes host does have a massive advantage. as for pings. can't tell we get the same treatment as console owners. 3 bars. 3 green good ping, 2 yellow moderate ping, 1 red give up all hope.
time was spent on 3 different matches. the end of a round equals getting the boot back to lobby and then more waiting while other players are searched for. this is not fun.
smoothness of play can't comment much as i was against locals the whole time. so ping was fairly ok but nowhere near as good as playing on a dedi server.
and the no leaning thing get's you quite quickly.
not bad, not great, just average. not as good as it could have been on pc.
