Modern Warfare 2 to cost 55 pounds?!

you, me and 90% of the PC gaming community.

They're using economic reasons to hide the real fact: They know MW2 is one of the most anticipated releases of the year - so they reckon they'll shaft the paying public - again.
Expect to pay the same if not more for Diablo II as well....
 
StarCraft2 selling price is going to be around R450 so there seems to be a trend....... sadly. :(
 
I won't pay more than R400, not even for Diablo III. I'd rather wait for it to drop in price.

I guess I'm a budget gamer. It's very rare for me to buy titles that have just been released. I tend to wait a bit. That way I always have games to play because I get them at much cheaper prices than when they were released.

Some games I'll get when it's released though but it happens rarely.

Take2 is crawling with specials (Bioshock for R66?) so why would you? Couldn't resist Protoype and Call of Juarez though... :p
 
Yep, I'll normally wait for all the hype to die down and then see what people say about the game. Glad I did that with Spore.
 
Yea i read on Joystiq, that they put it up another 10% to see who is willing enough to pay for a "premium" game i think was the wording. Either way there is no way im paying to ugly end of R600 for that game. Me thinks waiting for platinum is the way for me
