Modern Warfare 3 dedicated PC servers confirmed

Although this is a step in the right direction, too little too late maybe for a lot of gamers.
I remember wanting to play COD BLOPS, but only having SAIX bandwidth... That was epic fail..

Anyone else loving the whole "mine is better", "no mine is" battle between BF3 and MW3 atm? I think its awesome. Although we all know who'll win.

True, except MW3 is not a premium game. Not by a long shot. COD4 was a premium game. New engine, new story, the whole shebang. MW2, Black Ops and MW3 could maybe be called glorified expansion packs, if you're feeling generous, but to call it a premium game is a joke.

Please show me improvement on any of these three over COD4. And I don't mean slight tweaks and adjustments, I mean new tech and new ideas. And exploding dogs really don't count.

MW3 cross platform gaming ! They will be the first to implement this. Looking forward to pwning those XBox and PS3 noobs on my PC

All news ideas and tech. I doubt MW3 will be a fail.

But really we're now again comparing 2 different games with each other. If you're a BF3 fan then by all means play only BF3 as much as you like, same goes for the MW3 fans.

Myself will be playing both, enjoying the new tech and ideas from both EA and Activision :)

Where do you come up with this? Sony and Microsoft have actively refused allowing games to have PS3/360 multiplayer and console vs PC multiplayer in a twitch shooter would make zero sense.

That's what i read somewhere a while ago, possibly could have changed. Will have to look it up.
 
That will NEVER happen... unless MS allows it. I think what they might mean is that people can share information like "HEY I got my pink care package!" on all platforms?

Question? Has anyone seen ANY PC footage of MW3?? Pre order? JY is seker FSK MAL!

Seriously so well said , money grubbers ........I mean look at BF3 that is wow MW3 looks like MW2 with different lighting and dedicated servers.

I am sure I will eventually get it but , not because it's premium game .

With the way the CEO was shitting himself over the competition they had in BF3, I was just expecting at least a little something to tide people over.

And as for the price, it's sad, actually. BF3 is keeping the price as low as possible while trying to appeal and win as many people over as possible, and along comes Activision, slapping a $60 price tag on something with absolutely no preorder incentive. BF3 is also $60, but at least it can be justified with exclusive preorder goodies.

What im seeing are people being BF Fanboy's...Seriously...Both games will be epic, I am quite sure of that and the competition between the developers and publishers just makes it even better.

I pre ordered my games from bt games and there are no incentives..nada zip nil...for either titles.
Besides $60 is really nothing if you think about it, for hours and hours of entertainment its a bloody bargain :D

What also gets to me..You guys are so BF 3 will own all, yet no one has played it..Its cool seeing clips of other people playing it as a beta but its still doesn't mean the game will be any good. Same goes for MW 3..The proof is in the pudding and seeing as none of us have had a slice yet, no one can say for sure. The only thing talking in this thread is Fanboynism.

Oh, I''m not a fanboy of either. Not even sure if I'm going to bother with either of them seeing as there are so many other cool games coming up. :P

BF3 is giving the first DLC for free to people who preorder the game. :P

Again, no one knows that for sure as none of us have had the oppertunity to play either titles.
I won't cast my vote untill I've played both, then I'll tell you which is best.
 
This doesn't change anything for me, I'm just burnt out on the series. Dedicated servers are not going change that fact.

Cool, u can tell us how they compare :) I would love to have enough time to play all these games but i gave MW2 a skip and bought BC2. Never seen any MW2 other than youtube trailers. Now I've pre-ordered BF3 and that will consume what little time i have for gaming. Don't wanna waste time speculating will they won't they have dedicated servers for MW3. I'll happily spend time catching up on all the older games that i bought in the past and never played :p

I will for sure, I don't judge games before actually playing them..except for wii titles because as far as I am concerned its a con..not a console..lol. Just wish everyone would stop hating and get excted about these games.
 
dota 2 is going to be far better in any way so there no comparison
