Modern Warfare 3 dedicated servers in South Africa

So what's the point of having dedicated servers in the first place? Everyone wants to play online and progress your character. I'm so glad I didn't get this.
 
Ya I figured it would be something like this. Makes me wonder why Activision is so tight lipped about the dedicated servers, especially when their game launched last night. I mean surely you want to give out as much info as possible so providers can have dedicated servers up and running?

So Activision trusts some kids dodgy home internet connection over data center's massive infrastructure and reliability? riiiiiight...
 
Its only for public and Ranked games the rest use dedicated severs , and tbh if you have a guy with a stable 4mg uncapped line then everything is fine no lag no worries.

and lets face it, was never a common thing in MW2, you had to know the "right" people to get a hosted game....
 
Not to mention P2P being a fucking hacker fest. We once had 4 Aimbotters in 1 game. Freaken 4 and not a single thing we could do about it, cause it's P2P.
 
What the F*** is this fail game now. Without proper server support this game sucks. Gameplay is not all if you can't have proper server support
 
Meh this is not cool...I am still going to be playing the game but I feel this is a step back from black ops.
 
Its been going backwards since modernwarfare 1 :/ very dissipointed. So Dedicated server play will be a waste of time then? really sux. I wanted to buy this. Since i didn't buy black ops, or modern warfare 2, thought activision would see the light. I think this is even worst than Ubisoft's DRM.

Yep, my comment was stated in a useless way, however I did go read stuff about this game as you claimed I did not, seems I read more than you, the 'changes' that were made arent that big of a deal to make get this game. Ever. Long live the days of COD Modern Warfare 1 when things were still fresh and awesome.

Oh, and yeah the non-ranked dedicated servers thing isnt that big news, dedicated servers will be unranked and on the callofduty.com site FAQ, so please dont tell me again that I didnt 'bother reading', I just didnt bother reading alot; as I didnt see the use.

Yes I agree the p2p server thing sux but the game will still be fantastic.

Oh and I have been following the game's development from day one. So I read more than enough.
