Modern Warfare 3 dev asks fans to help improve low Metacritic user score

hahaha, I find this very very funneh :D Gamers speak teh Truth eh?
So who does one Trust. The score that Paid Reviewers give or the Fans who had to pay?

I think ill believe the paying gamers over the paid reviewers :)

I'm playing the game now and although the same as the other COD its still a solid game. And lets be honest we all know its not a 2.8/10 game. This shouldn't be taken seriously.

While I am sure it ISN'T a 2.8/10 game I think the overall message should not be overlooked. Yes its a solid game, with a solid multiplayer but so was MW2. This raping on Metacritic is gamers voicing the fact that they dont want the same game in some new rags year after year. What happened to pushing the envelope & innovations in shooters? This is equally true of BF3, yes its a great game and it brings BF2 into modern era but how different is it really to BFBC2? I remember a time when Halo & the original Modern Warfare where the most innovating FPS's on the market, when Both where considered risky IPs.

For all its Merits even Deus Ex stuck to the familiar. I want innovation, I want envelope pushing. The only way this message will reach developers ears is if we, the consumers, speak with actions rather than words. While I would have prefered people simply not Buy shit like MW3, Bulletstorm, DNF instead of this metacritic rape at least it is a start.

What, you mean the irate BF3 fanbois who haven't even bought the game yet, much less played it? That's where the majority of those 0s are coming from.

nothing is 100% certain Graal, NOTHING. You never know, maybe its some seriously pissed of people who purchased COD and now feel screwed once again? Again nothing is certain...cause i sure as hell wont go out on a limb and say "this must be it"

And they're totally ignoring the fact that there are just as many people who honestly don't mind. I play every new CoD as my quick B-grade action fix, and as long as their formula doesn't devolve into something absolutely shit, I don't mind if it doesn't get any better. Every new CoD is a familiar game, that I can spend a few hours with, and then put it away and remember it as a few hours of mindless fun. I don't always want a complex or involving experience when I play games. Sometimes I just want to unwind, and CoD is there for that.

Maybe. But nobody with half a brain rates a game zero. There is even a single game in the world that is worth 0. Not even the original ET.

So play MW2, its still just as good as it was back when u bought it, why replace it with the exact same game?
That may be but the problem is there amount of involving experience are decreasing to an almost non existent level due to brainless releases like those named in my previous post selling so well.

Very good statement.....its actually a legit question....thing is i played MW2, i enjoyed it even with P2P but i dont see the point of MW3 if its just like MW2...ok...perhaps new kill-streaks and weapons and new maps? hec they could just given more DLC then....
