Modern Warfare 3 on PC: everything you need to know

I thought it was a broomstick? you use your hands for that?

My problem is that nothing new is in CoD. You are paying 450-500 rand for a expansion/dlc for MW2. So i will play and probably enjoy it... but am not going to buy it at release but wait for it to be on special.
 
Don't get me wrong, the COD Modern Warfare still has one of the best single player story lines out there, but as far as MP goes, bleh. It's been nothing really new since COD4, maybe MW2.
 
No doubt... it is like a 4 hour long action movie! love playing through the SP. It also has problems though. But i will leave it there :)
 
That's just it, though. I don't mind people discussing the shortcomings of the game, but this whole year anybody with even a remote interest in the CoD franchise simply had to deal with the fact that people come into MW3 threads and well, basically troll them. There's a key difference between stating the reasons why you won't be buying a game and downright making fun of it in a condescending manner each time a thread about it pops up. I certainly have yet to see the same kind of behavior from the CoD fanbase, which is by large considered immature by the BF fanbase.

I don't really count myself as a fan of either game, as I consider 90% of FPS games more casual games, but it would be lying to try and tell myself the MW3 multiplayer will have more staying power for me than BF3. However, I'm still looking forward to both. It would just be nice to have a thread about MW3 where it isn't having the shit trolled out of it for once.
