Modern Warfare 3 vs Battlefield 3

Both games are in their third iteration. Which one are you gonna get? I really dig what I've seen so far from Battlefield 3 but what I've hated in the other Battlefield games is where you can't see your enemy because he's so far away and you end up shooting at a red dot of your reticle. I have no love for Kotick but I just watched the new MW3 trailer and its a really sweet trailer. I loved MW games done by Infinity Ward but this is not the same IW. I haven't played Black Ops yet. Battlefield 3 or MW3? What are your thoughts?
 
I am going for Battlefield 3 I really like the franchise, i never got into the whole Call Of Duty thing, i liked the first Modern Warfare but its been downhill from there for me anyway.

As for you red dot thing, find high groud get a missle laucher and take them out that way, cause the terrain is insane so you sometimes shooting up at people and thats why you miss.
 
I'll be going with Battlefield 3. The gameplay looks totally breath taking. And I had a really bad experience with Black Ops online (PC). So Won't be going with COD again.

No both games are not on their third iteration lol :D

COD is at it's 10th or something now? :P
 
Battlefield 3 all the way!!!
better online multiplayer component, more players, vehicles, etc.
Frostbite engine looks awesome.
 
i'll be going with MW3, if i have to choose...

...eventhough i will most probably buy both when the time comes
 
Personally i think BF3 will trample COD this year.. if you notice, bf3 and the anticipation being built is rapidly increasing.. These guys know that they are coming out with a solid game. MW3 seems rushed in my opinion.. Simply being released due the bf being released.. COD is a brand these days, people buy it coz they have always bought it.. Whether its bad or not they still fork out hundreds of bucks for a game with the same mechanics and graphics as the one 3 years back. I mean mw2 wasnt that far of from world at war or even mw1
 
I'm still kinda waiting it out on this before I pass any judgement... but I gotta admit.

MW3 is not really hitting my sweet spots quite as hard as BF3 is...

BF3 is set for a preliminary win in my book.
 
Indecisive at the moment because I haven't given CoD a fair chance yet.....that's because of it Xbox exclusivity.....which gladly was halted:p I do enjoy the Battlefield series and made the mistake of playing the second one first. At the moment is Battlefield all the way but I will get back to you guys once I've played CoD!
 
BF3! Been a fan of the franchise since 1942 days and still playing bc2 and vietnam exp.

I pretty much bought an xbox because bad company was console exclusive. Will be interesting to see how the pc and console versions square off.

id never pre order a game thou just based on anticipation and advertising.. alot of games are not that amazing these days.. like 5 a year end up with a metacritic rating over 90%.. take brink for example.. massive anticipation, shitty game
 
Well one thing you guys have not said and a good enough reason for me , apart from the game and gameplay is the replay value
Lets be honest we hate paying for DLC and COD charges us more for it than BF ever did
Im bored with black ops but theres no way im going to fork out the price of a new game for 2 or 3 more cool map's
what is it now 3 or 4 dlc they have added , no I will pay for BF3 cause its new and I want value for my money
