Monitor suggestions

My Samsung 2333sw died and I am currently using a 17" screen that was not being used. I need a suggestion for a new monitor 23" to 24" in the R2k range

I've been checking this monitor out for a while now. Planning on buying one later this year unless i can find a better one

You can't go wrong with the Samsungs. The price of the 23" has dropped to around R2.5k as well.

If it's for all-round use, including gaming, I would recommend:

Dell U2312HM Ultra Sharp 23" @ R2414

IPS, low input lag, little to no ghosting noticeable and some good review scores out there. There's a long-ish thread about it on Hardforum as well.

heh thanks for the suggestions, but not a IPS panel. saw quite a few in action does not mean buggerall for games

Depends on personal preference, I guess. But the input lag and ghosting on that Dell is on par with some monitors costing twice as much.

I still am a Samsung fan, if you had good service of your old one stick to Samsung
