Mortal Kombat 9: My Thoughts

Wow, fail of note. Pre-ordered online but Kalahari didn't receive enough for all the CE orders, not getting one anymore :cry:
 
Got my Kollector's Edition yesterday. I want to be honest, you're not missing out on much if you didn't get one - seriously. It's actually, kinda sad. So if you didn't get a Kollector's Edition - don't worry, just get the normal one and enjoy the game knowing that you REALLY didn't miss out on anything special.

Even the little statue art-work piece that comes with the Collector's Edition is like a molded rubber - VERY cheap stuff.

See my comment. Quality of the statue is 4/10 in my opinion. It's NOTHING like the stuff I've got before from, example, Assassins Creed Collector's Editions. This is a molded and painted piece of rubber.

Disappointing to hear that, was considering getting the ce but doesnt sound all that great.

Comes in a tin case the game which is very nice. It statues are kinda shit. But my god this game is good.
Smoke for the win dudes.

Played with my friends all day. Played a bit of the ladder co-op with my friend on expert.

Also the stages are beautifully done.

Oh and smoke is awesome. Unlocked his alternative costume. A pity we only get ermacs classic skin:-/

I just noticed something. The fatalities you unlock are not shown with player 2 :-/

I hope they fix than.
 
My thought on the game is that it won't necessarily pull newcomers to the game, but, it's a great tribute to long time fans of the game. I think it's a fantastic game all round.
 
I'm still awaiting mine.

Neo, which version you got? Does it come with any of the classic costumes? I haven't seen/noticed any mention of them on the forums - just curious as to whether our versions also have.
 
MK's code for Xbox is not available for users with SA accounts....

You have two options:

1. Create a dummy UK/US account and redeem it from there (All users on that Xbox will have access to the redeemed code)
2. Wait until one day they decide to put MK 9 on the SA marketplace (Don't hold your breath)

I used (1.) for my UFC code and Borderlands codes. Both games are still not on the SA martketplace.
