Mortal Kombat delayed

According to a tweet from BTGames, Mortal Kombat has been delayed until 29 April due to issues with the kollector's edition. I'm not surprised. South Africa always has a way of reminding you that you're still living in a 3rd world country.

I thought release was 29 April as my preorder says from months back. Or is this now 29 June ?

Hi guys; I've contacted distributor NuMetro and I'm waiting on some official word on what has caused the delay.

I personally think NuMetro themselves screwed up. For some reason I don't think they're the best when it comes to distributing gaming in South Africa. Why on earth such a high-profile title was handed to Nu-Metro for distribution in the first place is beyond me.
 
I pre-ordered mine through kalahari and they've told me all along it would only arrive around the 29th.. Holding thumbs it's not later than that
 
Mortal Kombat 9 was originally scheduled to release locally on April 29th, because all the Easter public holidays made getting the game out to retailers a trickier than it ought to be. The distributors then tried – in earnest- to push the release up to the earlier Friday, the 21st. It seems logistics have come back to haunt hem, because unfortunately you’ll not be cutting off heads or disembowelling ninjas over Easter (In Jesus’ name, of course). Nope, it’ll only be released here, as originally planned, on April 29. Bummer.

Not cool. Oh, and I hope that the distro's work during and after the long weekend or else there's going to be alot of sad bunnies.
