Warners Bros. has revealed a number of different special editions of Mortal Kombat X, all of which are available to pre-order now on Amazon.

The Kollector's Edition by Coarse, Kollector's Edition and Limited Editions will only be available for PS4 and Xbox One, while the Premium Edition is available for all platforms.

First up, The Kollector's Edition by Coarse costs £100 / $150 and comes with a Scorpion figurine and accompanying Certificate of Authenticity signed by artists Sven Waschk and Mark Landwehr. An in-game skin for the ninja based on the figure will also be included. Finally, you'll get the Kombat Pack, which includes four additional unnamed fighters who will apparently be a mix of older Kombatants and guest characters.

If you're wondering why the Scorpion statue looks a little bit different, it's because it was redesigned by Coarse, which has extensive experience creating collectible figurines. To get a look at why they opted to go down this route,

The standard non-Coarse Kollector's Edition costs £90 / $180. It will only be available through Amazon. It includes a 28cm hand-painted Scorpion statue, a steel pack and card, the in-game gold Scorpion Skin, the Kombat Pack and Mortal Kombat X: Blood Ties Comic Book Volume 1.

The Limited Edition costs $95 and can only be pre-ordered at Gamestop. It comes with an exclusive Scorpion Skin inspired by the Cold War, and the Kombat Pack. Finally, the Premium Edition is download only, costs $90 and comes with the Kombat Pack.

Wonder if BT will get their hands on ant collector's ed's cos man i would really like one it would go nicely with my previous one

It annoys me when they add character DLC because its almost never specific to the CE exclusively... they tend to release it to everyone, just a bit later...

Yup. Back in the day a CE used to be the day 1 game. Now you get watered down games with the rest of the content later on as mini expansions. I miss the days of proper games with full expansions.

Very tempting, that Kollectors statue looks amazing, thankfully it's not on PC so it's easier to resist.

Im shocked no one has mentioned Goro pre order bonus, also we know that 1 of the 4 in the kombat pack is Kano

A grand for the additional fighters?!:O
I miss the days where you could unlock all the characters/outfits instead of being charged extortionate prices for them. Dead or Alive was one of the franchises that really encouraged multiple fights in the old games and the newest one had it all as paid dlc and re-re-releases so I've completely abandoned the franchise. Kinda hating the digital age.

Ya, I miss unlocking characters too. I wouldn't mind so much them charging for a 'quick unlock', but it'd be nice to be able to unlock without paying. As far as rereleases go, it is pretty standard with all fighters these days. But the free-to-play of DoA5 now is decent, pay for the characters you want, so at least there's that.

It's all about the money. Sucks!
