Most accurate Super-Movie

I was just reminiscing about Man Of Steel and i was wondering what do you guys think is the most accurate portrayal of events should a fight between super-beings occur? Personally the sheer scope and hopelessness that Man Of Steel evoked made me earnestly believe that living in a superhero world would be a fate to be loathed. Your thoughts?

I found the man of steel fight to be heavy unrealistic in toto, given that Metropolis should have been completely reduced to rubble within the first couple of seconds if you think of what was happening all in all, and yet at the end of the movie there is still a majority of the city standing... I do agree though that it would probably not be a fun experience to live with super-heroes and not be super-powered as well...

What do you mean "would be"? We just keep a much lower profile than depicted in the movies "whistling:

I always thought "Watchmen" was a pretty accurate depiction. Haven't watched "Man of Steel" yet, so no comment on that.

Check out Chronicle.

End fight is very realistic and this to me is an almost perfect superhero movie.

Yep Chronicle is probably the most realistic super hero movie ever. Loved every minute of it. Actually need to watch it again!

Man of Steel was not that great. Good effects and all but that guy who played Super Man was not the greatest of actors unfortunately.

Also super man always held himself back when it came to fighting his anger(that to me is his greatest strength), in Chronicle they give into their anger and pay with heavy guilt afterwards.

Accurate in what sense? How the superheroes would be? There I agree, because while have powers, the emphasis is squarely more on the human part than the super. However, I think we're talking about the ramifications in the real world for non-superheroes. If that's the case, Chronicle isn't a bad call, in fact, although not the best movie I've ever watched, it's definitely worth a go.

I do indeed mean the ramifications on us muggles. Also I wonder what would the level of disparity be between these beings and normal humans.

Chronicle was an amazing movie. Personally loved it and felt that the event depicted could reasonably happen should the pre-requisites be met.

In regards to Man of Steel I loved how undisciplined the Henry Cavill Superman was. To me it was a more believable depiction of the nature of a man who finally stops fearing what he could conceivably do and actually begin using his power to it potential
