Most memorable Game Characters

I was discussing this with a mate the other day. What are your most memorable game characters, remembering how their catch phrases got stuck in my head, just all the memories of them while I was growing up :)

Some on my list have to be (See my signature :) )

Lara Croft
Duke Nukem
Mario and Luigi ....
Scorpio, Sub Zero,.... (All ORIGINAL Mortal Kombat Chars)
Earth Worm Jim
Max Payne

The list can go on and on....

Yip, definitely Scorpion. "Get over here!" :D

My best character in a game, ever, is Commander Shepard from Mass Effect. :)
 
Ezio from AC2 (and Leonardo da Vinci was awesome as well)
Duke Nukem (obviously)
Captain Price (all of him)
and...... some more.
 
For me:

Elena Fisher
Victor Sullivan
Cpt. Price (Best FPS character!)
Ezio
Mario
Crash Bandicoot :D

Yes, that's my avatar dude :D I don't remember it as a game though. I first saw the cartoons in the MAD Magazine.

I really want to know what game his avatar is from though, that game that was set in a world of clay.

EDIT: Nevermind, just found it. It was called "The Neverhood". :D

Kate(no one lives for ever 2)
A bar tender in stalker called marijuana.
The scared one(Planescape torment)

Maybe as general rule, all the early Sierra characters should be on this list by default.
