Most Wanted features "all the best sh**" from Hot Pursuit, Burnout Paradise

Well it's more than just the car handling and the police chases. It was how everything came together in Most Wanted that made it something special. This one doesn't seem to even have the atmosphere of most wanted, it looks just like The Run tbh.

Black Box did one thing right; they created Need for Speed: Most Wanted (The best NFS ever created IMHO).

Criterion, while they make some really cool games, I must admit, they don't really know how to make a Story-based NFS. As far as I'm concerned. Theyr'e all about speed, tricks and destruction. What Need for Speed: Most Wanted needs; a story, cars (girls, preferably) and fun. That is what the original Need for Speed: Most Wanted delivered to the player... Which is why I loved that game to bits!

Even a Copy-and-Paste of the original with the obvious tweaks, improvements and general game updating, the game can be made into something... Good enough even to rival its predecessor.

I feel very strongly about Most Wanted. It definitely changed the way I saw/see racing games.

Seconded

I want the best shizznit from Burnout Legends, Dominator, Revenge, etc... and I hope we are all on the same mind set when I talk about Crash Time!! :D I loved creating massive recks and blowing everything up around me. I want that to all come back!! :o

spoken liken a true syco !!!

Im actually keen for this ! hot pursuit was brilliant, and i sure this will be on the same level unlike last year's ABOMINATION of a game that blackbox made.

Seems they're resorting to the older NFS games. I'm totally on board with that. I don't think Criterion can return that old feeling of the game though. They make games about destruction, crashing etc. Most Wanted was about racing and escaping from the police. And I don't think this game will have a plot-you get to play as the police too. I don't really see how that can be in a story. The next NFS better be a Underground

I think it was a great choice to get Criterion to develop this Need For Speed.

I think with this games, NFS can really gain back the fans they lost from the NFS that failed. I'm REALLY keen for this Need For Speed, I am going to pre order it once a pre order price and specs is available.

I wonder if my GT 525M will be able to handle the game at high maybe??

I'm sorry but there are 2 things that make Need for speed great, the open world driving and the car customization. Underground had customization and it was awesome but thats been slowly fading away. Shift brought it back (mainly in the hardware area) and I loved shift since it was linked to real tracks and was still fun but that was just a phase and they went back down with hot pursuit. Don't get me wrong I still love it and the Run was pure Addrenalin awesomness but there is something about designing your own car that just brings a smile to my face.

So play Forza or GT. The changes you could make in the old NFS games where so basic that its better it got removed. I do miss the visual customisation.

Granted they brought Hot pursuit back out from the history bin but that was a classic. Is most wanted old enough to really warrant a revival? I don't see it, if it was up to me sequel to the run through europe. They have some great driving roads there and mountain passes so you could follow on brilliantly and give a great game.
