AS Nemesis said.

I had a Razer Exact mat (speed and control )

It wore out my First G5's 'feet' after a while. The mouse itself broke, and I got another one, the Rev 2. Same thing, after a while it ate up the feet/pads of the mouse.

I swapped over to a Roccat Sense Glacier softpad

I'm Very impressed. The only thing I really don't like about it, it could be due to my mouse's feet being worn, is that after about a moth the general area of the pad became worn as well, so I find myself constantly rotating the mat. I'm getting a new one with my Kone mouse so hopefully it does not happen again.

It will still happen mappie, just at a slightly slower pace. I've had my Razer Goliathus speed for about 4 months now, and the area where I use my mouse is very worn. Thats with new feet on a G9 mouse. It's just normal wear and tear tbh.

OH I see. Shot Green Orb.

See this is why it sucks, I found my aiming to be so much more consistent on the hardpad than the softpad, but if that comes at the expense of warn mouse feet, it's not worth it at all!

I think I am going to get a new mouse pad something like that Coolermaster one. I have an el cheapo from Computer mania. I didnt actually know that mouse pads actually make that much of a difference when it comes to gaming. I am not great at FPS so I think ill get one, together with a new mouse.

Hi Necuno.
____________

Yeah, especially for FPS. Problem with mine at the moment is that it find it tricky to put the sights onto the target, so if you move the mouse a little it jumps and bit and doesn't stay on the target. Either I have really shite aim or its the mouse and mouse pad?

I have an A3 texture mat that I bought from our local PC shop, it does the job - seeing as I still have a normal Microsoft Infra red 3-button mouse. :o
