Kick Ass was waaaay over the top but enjoyable and lol yes anything Guy Ritchie does is pretty good tbh
Even liked the new Sherlock Holmes

Jack, if you like taken, you should check out a movie called Harry Brown, not exactly the same thing, but pretty good with Michael Cane as the lead

Faffa, if you liked B:LA, have you seen Skyline, there is an Epic Aerial Combat sequence in it where unmanned drones go up against a UFO Thing

I thoroughly enjoyed the Watchmen. It must have one of the best intro's of any movie I've ever seen.

Also, although I will admit that inglorious basterds is not the best movie Tarantino's made, I definitely think it's worth a watch - even if you just skip through it and only watch the scenes with Christoph Waltz (The Jew Hunter) in it.

Some I'd recommend that aren't completely commercial:

Equilibrium
The Life aquatic, with Steve Zissou.
The next three days
What dreams may come
Googlewhack
Primer

There are too many crappy ones to list. :/

Dude - the only thing good about Skyline, was the trailer, which consisted of EVERY interesting looking part of the movie. Bad acting, bad score, drab scripted events, crappy timing, excellent effects.

B: LA wasn't that good, I just watched it after I saw Skyline. Thank the cinema gods I didn't go watch Skyline in the cines.

Rewatched Legio last night on TV and it is a really really bad movie, thin storyline, even thinner acting, skip it if you have been fortunate enough not to see it yet

the good:
Conan the barbarian
Hamburger hill
Platoon
Apocalypse now redux
Evil dead 2
Hellraiser
The Cube
Memento
Inception
Silent hill(best game movie)
Pitch black
Chronicles of riddick
Dogs of war
Pick of destiny
Iron cross
Saving private Ryan
Behind enemy lines
Machete
Death proof
Predator
Alien(all of them)
Kill bill
Blade 1 ,2
Lord of the rings
7even
The Beast
Nightmare on elm street(original)

The bad:
Suckerpunch
Skyline
Indiana Johns and the crystal skull
Star wars episode 1-3
ect....

Wow. I can add Fast 5 to "go watch". Didn't expect it to be that good, honestly.

Adrenaline is back, good acting, over the top stunts, good story and an INSANELY hot French chick.

Book of Eli - one of the best movies i have ever seen!

If you havent seen Master and Commander i reccomend it!

Also i think Crank 2 is way over the top but a movie you have fun laughing at :D

pirates of the caribbean ... well i watched all 3 this weekend in HD ... just cant beat captain jack sparrow

wonder what the new one will be like :-/

It's simply amazing to me how tastes differ.

Watched and enjoyed this weekend was No Strings Attached. Yeah it's girl flick, but Natalie Portman.... Nom nom nom.

One to skip is The Hit List with Cuba Gooding Jnr. Very predictable.

I dunno what people have against new Indiana Jones movie. It's exactly like all the old ones just a little shinier with CGI.

Dude I am a huge Indiana johns fan but the story was complete shit. The story seemed to be put together by a two year old.
And I hate labuff(or what ever his name is)
