Movies - What to See and What to Avoid

OK so had some time to watch a few movies over the last week
Thor - Uninspired
Xmen - O - M - G, it was terrible, really really really bad, avoid if at all possible
Troll Hunter - Excellent Movie, word of warning though, get subs unless you understand Nordic
 
Agreed with Xmen, so, so bad.

Troll hunter took me by surprise, loved every second of it, and the quality of the effects and larger-than-life trolls were epic.
 
Horrible Bosses. 7/10, would've given it an 8 if the ending wasn't the cliche it was.
Some witty jokes, and good acting from actors I wouldn't picture as 'funny' or 'witty'.

Just don't go and watch anything at NuMetro at Canal Walk. Last time I waste my money there - Kak screen, cinema layout, cinema seats, sound, kak projectionist, kak service.
 
I seem to be detecting that he had a slight problem at Nu Metro in Canal Walk .... I could be mistaken though, His message wasn't clear :P

I watched it last night. Overly slutty and side-boobed Jennifer Aniston & Kevin Spacey made that movie. The whiney little bitch of an oral hygienist who made up part of the trio irritated me beyond belief. Jamie Foxx also helped to add some awesomeness to it. Colin Farrell was fullmode lulz in the movie though. Not quite Tom Cruise / Lez Grossman, but funny no less. :D

The plot could've been decent, but it's almost like they suddenly ran out of time/money and closed it off right then and there. Terrible.

Captain America - Yet ANOTHER Superhero Intro Movie - Not too bad except for the obviously Face Mapped Human Torch :/

For this I need more than one line
Could we please line up all the remaining familiy members of Sydney Prescott and execute them all now, to save us from more possible remakes?
Seriously, the onlyway in which Craven could build any further on this franchise is if Scream 5 saw the last remaining Prescott Kill Herself (Thereby keeping to the theme)
Give it a Rest, please
 
I saw The Adjustment Bureau last night (having no idea what the movie was about before hand).

Interesting concept that they could have done a lot more with, but a really boring movie. Best not bother with it
 
I won't say I watched Ghost Rider II Spirit of Vengeance, as I opted to not continue watching it after the first few minutes
It sucks, in fact it blows

It looks like a cheap low budget reshoot of Drive Angry, and that's saying a lot
The Scene with Cage riding on the motorcycle showing his face is not only extremely cheap and dissapointing, but also reminds one of lazy filler shot technique used in the 90's by directors who were unsure of the subject matter they where shooting

Cinematography is pathetic, camera angles are terrible, I know it is shot to closer resemble realisitc motion but could they really not have put in a bit more time on shot planning?
Composition of most shots is also lacking in most regards

Avoid, unless you are stoned or severely inebriated
 
The Divide
Not a bad movie overall as it deals with some relevant social breakdown issues in high pressure no hope situations, but I think they could have expanded a bit more on the underlying storylines
Cinematography on one or two shots is awe inspiring though
