MSI Geforce GT 630 software glitch?

Hi

I bought an MSI GeForce GT 630 from a Canal Walk store during my recent holiday in Cape Town. Upon my return home, I disabled my onboard graphics on my Gigabyte B75 motherboard, and plugged in the card. Windows 8 Preview installs Microsoft's VGA drivers, and nVidia's software asserts that an nVidia GPU was not found.

The fact that the hardware is outputting an image suggests to me that this is a software problem. Have you any idea as to what the solution may be?

Thanks

Update: i performed a fresh Windows install this weekend, and endurrd that all of my drivers are updated. Windows device manager reports a code 43 error. Any attempt to boot into Ubuntu yields display corruption. Going to find out whither Computermania will refund me if i ship it back to them in Cape Town. My last three cards were second hand, and never gave me a problem

My 5770 does that quite often whenever I format or try update the drivers. It is always a pain to get the thing working which is why I haven't updated my drivers for almost a year now, maybe even longer.

So did not initially have that problem?

Its had the problem since I got it, other then that the card works fine, no worries about it. Best advice is rather get it sorted and if you can't then seek for a replacement otherwise its going to be a pain in the gat.
