MSI GeForce GTX 780 Ti Lightning (Not going to be sold to the public)

The Joker

Thread Killer MKII
So yesterday I got some tragic news :(

The MSI GTX780Ti Lightning will not be sold to the public.
They only produced 12 for in house use.
Apparently they decided against making these for public use because Nvidia won't allow them to unlock the voltage. Really sad :(

For those that wanted one...Here are some specs and pics

So basically they are just teasing us here, look what I have that you will never get. Not that I can afford it though.

Not a fan of MSI, I'll be getting the ASUS/Gigabyte 780 Ti.

I prefer MSI over those two, personal taste I guess. Asus close 2nd. Would love to get one of these babies though, wonder if a few may pop up on eBay overtime. Will be like a collectors card.

PRetty much a tease and also a way of letting people know that Nvidia stopped them from releasing the card.

Well you say that but Asus has slipped from being the most popular brand to being behind the likes of Gigabyte, Msi and even Sapphire when it comes to AMD cards. They charge a premium for the cards, yet there is little to no difference between any of the cards, mainly a slight overclock here or there.

Yeah also a huge MSI fan, lately I've been looking at and working Gigabyte a lot and I have to say my Gigabyte GTX780 Ti runs like a beast and is dead silent, def recommend that card.

Also been working on a lot of Gigabyte systems the last few days. Maybe one day I'll buy that 780Ti off you on Carb. That's if the other vultures haven't pounced on it before me.

I've moved from Asus to Gigabyte, very happy with my new 760. I think Asus is starting to act like Apple with their overcharging.

My 780 is a Gigabyte as well, mostly went Gigabyte due to Rectron though am very impressed so far.

Yeah I'm using the same card. Absolute beast. Good to know you've left your R9 290X behind.

No doubt its an amazing card but the 290X is pretty solid considering its a heck of a lot cheaper than this card.
Then again AMD card prices have risen so much thanx to the miners...lol
