Musicians on MyGaming

Looking good simon! I really want to get back into music, but sadly time and finances just don't allow it right now.

So my friend who does the vocals and bass for Soul's Darkness has just finished recording his band's debut album. Their band is called Dreams of Nightmare and the album title is Black Winter. All the recording, mixing, mastering etc. was done by my friend at home. They have made it available for download free of charge on bandcamp. If you like metal, check it out and leave them a like on facebook if you dig it. Just click on "buy now" on bandcamp and select $0.00 to begin the download (you can also buy it for money, if you choose).

Here's the link: http://dreamsofnightmares.bandcamp.com/album/black-winter

I have sold the V back to the guy I bought it from as the floating bridge really annoyed me, but then today I bought his Jackson Dinky from him. I didn't even realize it had a reversed headstock until I got it from him now. Here it is with my Ibanez RGR321EX (also reversed headstock).

Wow, guess I got a super deal then. Paid R1000 for that white beauty!

And it also has mighty mite pick-ups, which I was told are very good.

Beautiful guitars man... My dream guitar is an Iceman. Will probably buy one when I outplay my Bullet Strat that I'm teaching myself to play on. I know I'll appreciate the better feel and sounds I'll get from it when I move up in the muso-world. :D

Thanks dude!

I had to google Iceman and I can't believe I didn't know Ibanez makes such a badass axe. I would not mind having one of those at all.

My dream guitar would be the Jackson Kelly, specifically the one with the skull design. Either that or an Ibanez Xiphos.

That Xiphos looks insane! Still prefer an Iceman myself - been a dream of mine owning one for years now... I veered off to the drumming side of things many years ago and had to stop playing due to closed-community living when I got married. The muso bug bit me again a couple of months ago and I decided to buy a less disrupting instrument - a guitar. :p

I must say, Rocksmith 2014 is a very patient teacher and I improved my skill immensely. Only thing is the input lag is starting to become noticeable now, which is a bit of a shame. Still beats having to read tabs and play at your own pace!

I think my favourite guitar, aesthetically, is the Ibanez Iron Label RGIF.

Also, seems I have found a studio where I can record drum covers with mics and finally upload some more videos.
