Good to see all the musicians coming out.
Jordison is a good drummer. You can't deny that. But there are so many that are capable of outperforming him by miles.
It's the success of Slipknot, the fact that they aren't THAT heavy and the whole image of satanism makes the younger crowd idolise him.
ja ja, he's still one of my favouritesWhat he said ^

Cool thread.
Guitar player myself, no bands though. Mainly just jamming by myself and I used to record my own stuff as well, but it's been a few years since I've done that. Use to have a band project thing though, but it never really got off the ground.
That's a pity man. Ever thought of starting another project?
I've thought about it yeah, actually had an opportunity to join a band a little while ago, but there were some "issues" with the way they wanted to do things so I decided it's not for me. I did pretty much stop playing for about 4 years or so, but I've started again recently and at the moment I'm just focused on getting back to the level I was at and trying to improve beyond that. If I do start something else again, it would most likely be a small studio band project, no live performances and not too many members. I basically just want to have fun jamming on my axe and don't want to take things too seriously.
