I would like to contribute, but the only instrument I can play is the flute (Afrikaans die dwarsfluit). It's probably the most un-manly instrument to play, but hey I kinda enjoy it.

I play bass in a metal band and do clean vocals when they're needed. I play and record guitar now and again but drums is where my heart is, though I'm not great. I spend most of time watching drum cover vids etc.
My favourite drummers are Alex Rodriguez from Saosin and Matt Greiner from August Burns Red. Also JB Brubaker from August Burns Red is the most boss metal guitarist ever but you'd never say so. He looks like the most normal dude.

@bradbear117, yeah I love watching Alex Rodriguez as well. I find he overplays quite a bit but it fits so well into Saosin's style anyway. What band do you play for? Got any videos you can show off?

I had a few practices with Igor and we were going to setup a session contract but then things fell short. What a rad dude though. Hopefully I can revisit the contract and play for them as they're currently using Werner and I think he's sessioning too but they want a permanent member.

Honestly not my style of metal but East London is quite limited when it comes to guys who want to play metal. Drums are midi. Our drummer plays slighty more interesting parts than what is in the song.
This is an instrumental I recorded a while ago, need to lay down some vox still and fix up the completely shit guitar solo. The song is actually about Halo.
