MW2 on PC to cost the same as console version

Talking of which what extra's do u get with the CE. I checked BT but it didn't make much sense.
 
The amount of game time I'll be putting into MW2 after it's out will make up for whatever price I pay. I mean I barely play COD:WAW and allready I've got 100 hours worth of gametime on it. That's just online play.

R600 is massively steep but worth it IMHO.

BT's list is almost correct except we also get the stone prisoner/shale dlc( all copies even normal ones get that one) and me2 armour(for all versions).

The ce contains a steel case,cloth map of the dao world,making of dvd,sound track disc,game trailers,wallpapers,strategy tips dvd and concept art disc. Also another 3 special in game items which are unknown at the moment.

We are suppose to get the memory band since all preorders are suppose to get this but apparently EA africa decided not to offer this.

BT games are offering us the guildmasters belt item for everyone who preorders. Not sure if this is limited to only BT or all SA stores will carry this. In the us stores are offering different bonus items for those who preorder from them in order to differentiate themselves.

If you get the digital version from one of the download stores you get wardens keep instead of the steelcase or cloth map. This item will be available for those with physical copies as dlc.

I have contacted Megarom and they just confirmed that the PC version of Modern Warfare 2 will sell in South Africa for R400.

Ill still buy it, they never disappoint with their titles, as long as the quality of the game is top notch I don't mind paying more. Also, the multiplayer ensures that you wont play the game for a month or two then leave it alone. I still play cod4 and its been almost two years since its release, that value for money.

U are being silly, people care for what they pay for. The main point being that a PC game,"DVD" will cost as much as the same thing for consoles. "blueray-HD-D"
I think it should be cheaper. Them increasing the prices is just simply greed. because COD is bought massively for PC, they just want to max there profits.

People, listen up, XBox 360 games are on normal dual layer DVDs. They are not on HD - DVDs. The disks are physically the same as the DVDs that PC games come on.

Also, console games generally sell way more than PC games. ;)
