MWEB 200/GB out of bundle fees.

I'm not sure that I understand what you mean? :o

It's been a few years since I last used MWEB but they were my primary ISP for about three years. I always managed to get my maximum throughput (4Mbps) with them and never had any complaints with Steam, Skype, Youtube, browsing, gaming, etc.

The only thing Mweb sucked for, without a doubt, was peer-to-peer traffic. It was shaped to shit.

From what I'm aware, it's still much the same with their premium accounts--most protocols work beautifully but "piracy-associated protocols" are pretty much unusable.

What Mweb calls Uncapped, other ISP's called capped..since with MWeb's new FUP if you go over a certain (not publicized) threshold you get shaped moertoe. And what Mweb called uncapped Premium is actually just normal uncapped.

More info here and here

Ah, yeah, I understand what you were saying now.

I'm really not an advocate of Mweb but "back in the day" I'd tried every ISP and Mweb (premium) ended up being the only one that gave me my line-speed on all protocols except P2P, and I still managed to download a fair chunk every month without problems.

I don't know how other ISPs are any more (skimming feedback threads, not much seems to have actually changed) but Mweb was pretty good to me.

As I say, I don't know if that's still the case and they certainly wouldn't be my first choice on returning home either. But I can't fault them for much while I used them.
