I work in an ad agency and crap like this happens on an almost daily basis. I've had complaints on a number of TV ads I've done and even been sued once, and it's usually some sad old crone, crazy fundamentalist or humourless housewife that's the culprit.

In fact, there's one old geezer who lives out in the middle of nowhere who has lodged hundreds of complaints with the ASA. If he ever gets outed he'll have a mob of angry ad people with torches going Frankenstein on his ass.

Reminds me of the Nandos Add a couple of years ago. The one with the blind lady and the Seeing Eye Dog, where dog leads the lady into a pole and eats her Nandos. CLASSIC add but man did it cause commotion with people complaining!!!!
 
This is a sad sad world.

Reminds me of the Fattis & Monies ad with the Italian mama that cooks everything and then the wife pushes her into a closet.

Yeah, the SA National Council for the Blind wanted to sue the agency. Don't know what for though since it's not like any of them actually saw it :p
