MWEB tests 1Gbps FTTH connection

MWEB is showing off the benefits of FTTH broadband, like a 1Gbps connection, following the announcement that it is focusing on home fibre services.

I'd love to have a FTTH connection. Even only like a 20Mbps connection would be great. However that will never happen (not any time soon, anyhow) in Middelburg :/

Hopefully I can move down to Cape Town beginning of next year; I'll have to start checking which areas have fibre

I've been living under a rock, so I've only recently found out that there is fiber 1km from my place. I'm pretty sure i won't see it come my way anytime soon.
