My Brother supports EA

Roomys

Will post for beer
So...

My Brother wants to get BF4, i have told him i do not agree with it. I do not support EA games, and he does not understand this.

What do you guys think?

I'm with Eugene on this, you can't really force your boet to see the world the way you see it.

It's not really your choice bud doesn't matter how fucked up it is( it is believe me)

You can enlighten him about EA; giving their pros and cons, dos and don'ts, good and bad - but, ultimately, his decision to support the company is his own to make.

On that note; have you explained to him why do do not support them?

People make games sound like political movement "I do not support these policies...". If you don't like the way a company does business then don't do business with them, it shouldn't be your responsibility to go around convincing other people they also shouldn't do business with these people.

Not a big fan of them either, but if I want the game more than I dislike EA then I'll buy it. The world isn't black/white.

Mostly just annoyed that its not on Steam. I'll prob buy bf4.

You don't support EA games, and that's fine. He isn't you. Let him make his own mind up and stop trying to live his life for him.

Such a silly thing to make a fuss over...

I loved this reply the most, thanks for the feedback chaps!

This was a phuza thursday post while drinking with my boet and we somehow got into the topic of the future of gaming and how EA is trying to take over the world... I made this post to show him what people thought. My boet makes his own decisions and it was just a bit o fun really.

Thanks again for the reply's.

It's one of those things...

While we all hate Microsoft, we all "support" it by buying the OS... (I take it we all bought this, right ;) )

I hate Microsoft. I use their OS out of necessity, but I still hate them.

"I hate you, but I'll use your product."

That's how I understand what you're saying. So contradictory.:D

Like hating a vehicle manufacturer, but have and use their car for transport everyday.
