my new gaming pc!

Nothing wrong with that at all. Looks like a solid entry level i7 system that will be a solid platform to upgrade on in the future.

hould last a while before I upgrade!
Main thing I would upgrade is RAM and graphics card for now!

That system will play anything you throw at it with high details for a while. When he needs to upgrade in two years or so it will just be a simple matter of slotting some RAM, a CPU or a GPU without needing to replace the whole system.

Vista? Why not just wait for Windows 7 to come next month?

Far better for gaming and well...everything. lol

It comes with a Windows 7 upgrade voucher for free
So when windows 7 comes out I hand it in and get Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

You have to add a motherboard to that as well.

That's a good gaming PC.

Your first upgrade in the future would probably be more RAM as needed, but RAM is pretty cheap, cheaper than some games! Other than that, it should last you two years quite easily before you have to start turning down graphics sliders.

Bear in mind that AMD will be announcing a completely new range of graphics cards this month. The new products are likely to impact the market significantly, with price cuts likely to come from Nvidia.

I would try and hang on until then.
