Games these days aren’t just all about the graphics, sure real life has a very high resolution but the color palette is often full of greys and browns. I prefer games that are stat heavy with good characterization and story, like Japanese Role Playing Games for instance. Real life tends to have more hidden stats and use more of a sandbox style approach, which really almost forces you to take repetitive quests, or ‘jobs’ to earn any gold. Real life is only played so much because it’s free to play, there are loads of hidden costs though if you want any of the fun extras like a girlfriend or console. There is also no save options and you only get one play through. All in all, I have dabbled in RL, but I always go back to my games.
