My Twitch & My YouTube Gaming LIVE Streams

So last night I played Titanfall 2's new FRONTIER mode and it's so cool, granted it's PVE but with the right group of 4, it's just really fun - I streamed the session so give it a check and those with Titanfall 2 are welcome to add me on Origin "medicnick83" and join in - I plan to play more of these modes.

I also joined 3 other ZA players in a good few rounds of America's Army: Proving Grounds - who has it? Let me know if you want to join in the future.

I'm busy with Twitch's Affiliation as well - excited about that.
 
The following has been shared with me - and I'm sharing it with you guys - It's not only for my stream, but try it and see if it works out better for you if you watching my stream;

• Download Streamlink and Streamlink Twitch GUI.
- Streamlink: https://github.com/streamlink/streamlink
- Stream Twitch GUI: https://github.com/streamlink/streamlink-twitch-gui
• Once both are installed open Streamlink Twitch GUI - Settings - Enable advanced settings
• Now go to the third tab, it should be called "Streamlink" and set the stream type to rtmp and HLS segments to 10.
• Chatty allows people can interact with the chat as well when using Streamlink.

Hi all,

I once again remind all the ZA guys to come and join the discord - my Twitch following is growing and I'm very happy about that - super stoked actually, but it seems the ZA guys are a hit an miss - granted I understand that many of us don't have fibre - but I still want the guys to come join the discord and chat with the rest of the ZA players in the group.

There is talk of us doing a "drunken stream" this weekend - who is keen to join in on it... if you are a streamer, you welcome to stream it FROM YOUR PERSPECTIVE!

Basically, some of the rules we discussed were - if we playing PUBG and you die first, you need to down your drink or a shot (if you have)
Each game requires you drink 1 drink during that game / session - stuff like this...

Thoughts? comments? We will probably start at about 6pm on Saturday night and go till "whenever" :D
 
Morning all,

So before anyone else asks.

The "drunken stream" was not recorded - I was actually debating whether I was going to upload it to YTG (YouTube Gaming) because the "trouble makers" showed up again on stream and pissed me off, but when I decided to upload it anyways, I discovered that I didn't record it - well, "I" didn't - OBS did 2 updates on Friday/Saturday and the settings were reset, I discovered it and fixed stuff like the MIC and VOLUME issues but didn't think to check the recording settings.

My discord grew by 10 people this weekend, 4 of them being members of another local forum - welcome to you guys - glad I got to play a few rounds of PUBG with you.

We don't always win chicken dinners or win rogue fights in the Dark Zone, but I think we have lots of fun regardless and my discord streaming community is growly slowly so thanks to you guys.

Just keep in mind that I am promoting a casual fun gaming / streaming environment- if you are a streamer, you welcome to still join us, you can stream, I can stream - we host each other, we promote each other, we all play together and have fun, that's all that matters.

If you want to start streaming, but you want advice, guidance etc. ASK! :) I'm more than willing to help and so are many of my group.
 
So I've been asked as to why I've been so quiet lately and haven't streamed - maybe I've lost interest or whatever.

Firstly I appreciate the interest - I've 'somewhat' changed jobs in EMS and I've been dealing with that, then there are some other stuff that I've also been dealing with, so my streaming had to take a backseat for a bit.

I decided to start again tonight - did a session of Horizon Zero Dawn but prior to it, OBS did an update and in true OBS fashion, it updated and some of the settings have changed (audio related it seems) so IMO tonights stream was a bust so I won't be putting it up on YouTube Gaming.

Tomorrow I carry on playing Horizon Zero Dawn (PS4) for those who are interested.

Yeap! I'm back and thanks for all the messages be it via PM's or on Discord, things have really been mad for me and I've hardly had time for myself let alone the stream.

I've played all the WRC's and I really enjoy this one - it has it's issues but then again, what RALLY game doesn't.

I've noticed on YouTube Gaming & Twitch that there is not "game" for WRC 7! haha... Hope they fix that soon.
 
Hi all,

So the drama in my life continues, it's gotten rather hectic now and I'm just a bundle of stress at the moment - I'm going to (I'm still thinking about it) posting a video soon about what has been going on - especially for those who have always supported my stream and me since I started, but regardless, due to the issues, I haven't been streaming, I've tried to stream but as many of my friends can tell, I'm "not myself" on stream - I'm distracted, easily irritated etc so I've decided to just take a "EXTENDED" break - I do still play games, I just don't stream them.

We all have issues - that I understand more than anything, and generally, I'm not the one having the issues, but it seems this time around, I am.

I appreciate the support of the guys who are always constantly putting money into my PayPal account - I love you for that - I recently used some of that money to purchase a few games (WRC7 for example) and give it away to followers of my stream - it's the least I could do.

Honestly - the only real time I seem to forget about my issues is when I'm doing my volunteer ambulance shifts, because as we all know, then I see people at their worst and realize that though my problems are bad, it could be worse.

Finally got to tackle Destiny 2 on stream tonight - for 4 hours!


I enjoyed playing this game - there was a few issues;

1. OBS did some strange things - stuff it's never done before.
2. I couldn't play with my friend - we were on the same region, have each other as friends, there was just something weird.

I'm looking forward to playing and streaming this game more.

And oh! 0 dropped frames for 4 hours! Well done RSAWEB! :)

You better take extra care dude. A lot of people have been banned from the game for using OBS. Apparently it is not supported by the game, and you are threading a fine line if you use it.

I queried on Bungie forums and got this as a reply:

Why can't I stream this game?

Game capture is not supported, please use Display Capture and Window Capture if you'd like to stream using OBS.

So I have no issue.

With that said, I'm sure there is another reason why people are getting banned, it's not because of using OBS or whatever streaming software, something else is causing issues.
