So since this is for the comp, it's also a great idea to see what one can do to get their hands on such awesome games AM I RIGHT OR AM I JUST RIGHT!!! :D

Ok so to start off with I'm adding these in no specific order but these would have to be my fondest memories of games:

MDK 1 and 2

mdk-2-av.jpg

I loved everything about these two games, and like my passion for gaming I managed to finish these two games countless times. Not forgetting the characters Kurt, Max and Doc Hawkins.

My favourite parts of the games would have to be the sniping where unless I stand corrected were one of the first line of games to introduce that FPS bullet time motion when firing from a certain distance or getting the perfect head shot. :)

Here are some vids to cue flashbacks:

Lemmings 3D

I know I'm going for the lemmings style, but lemmings 3D I would spend endless hours playing at school on our old Windows 2000 system and got a kicker out of killing all the little guys. :-D

I know this type of puzzle style wasn't everyone's cup of tea but I certainly loved it.

The download is completely free to download as it is classified as Abandonware

Carmageddon

Here we have probably one of the most ultimate classics in gaming and Everyone, if not anyone has played this game series and more than likely Lanned it with friends as well as just played it for the joy ride. I have certainly loved this and I cannot wait for the new one which is currently being developed.

Enjoy the vid:

I remember playing this game with mates, with a split screen. :) Playing this game was amazing especially while we gamed until early hours of the mornings.

It can be downloaded here for free as it is abandonware. :)

Since I'm one of a few people that aren't spamming this forum, I'm just gonna keep updating my thread as we go along. :)

What has to be your most favourite Emulator of all time?!?!

Mine is still and I think will always be the Mame32 Emulator, it's free to download along with most of the roms offered since the games are a majority of Abandonware.

It can be download here (Mame32) for MAHALA :D.

Well if you are willing to help donate $400 000 towards the development of the new carmageddon then they will definitely remake it. However it has to be done by 6 June 2012 :)

I really want them to remake it, so I donated $25 US. :)

I have 2 additional games to add to the list:

The First has to be!!

Jazz The Jack Rabbit

The next time I'd like to point out is a LucasArts game and I think this game was mentioned earlier in the sub-section.

FullThrottle

Now since games like this (being a classic point and click style) were quite popular back in 1995 along with many others which will be mentioned soon. :)

Even though this is an oldie and yes it is available to freely download, it was action packed as a kid, not to mention the cheesy music played in the background. But hell it was a lot of fun and I'm pretty sure those of you who loved the games LucasArts released, would definitely remember this game.

Epic made Jazz jacrabbit afaik

The other 2 Point and Click games I would like to mention are as follows:

My Favourite and one which I still have on DosBox is:

Indiana Jones and The Fate of Atlantis

Fate_of_Atlantis_artwork.jpg

This was released back in 1992 when I was 6years old and I still remember having to click all over the place to achieve your objectives. Since this game wasn't the first LucasArts game released (Labyrinth released in 1986), it still bring back awesome memories of how today we see certain games as classics.

The game can be downloaded from here:

The other addition to add to my series of Point and Click games is:

Beneath Steel Sky

I think after playing a few Point and Click games, including Beneath steel sky. My attention to PaC games and appreciation became clear that I was not only addicted to them but I appreciated the value of how much they made you think overall. Beneath Steel Sky, was probably the last PaC game I played until probably about 8 years ago, when we would sit in our Comp Centre at school after hours and play Point and Click games as well as various other Multiplayer games.

This wasn't the only game which brought back some memorable moments, but definitely a cherished one.

MAME led to me starting to attempt to make a complete collection of classic gaming console roms, not only the arcade games. Currently sitting at 13.8% completed of the TOSEC dat collection, and 83.8% of the different arcade sets I am attempting to complete. The death of MegaUpload and a stolen laptop lead to the low completion of the tosec sets.

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis was an AWESOME game. Probably actually one of the best from about that time. I also remember the copy protection was that it would ask you something like what's the 5th word on the 2nd paragraph on page 15 of the manual, and the manual was printed in light blue ink that wouldn't get picked up by a photocopy machine...
