Just trying to get an idea of how many are interested in a MyG lan where we will be playing a couple matches of whatever everyone favours. Example Battlefront 2, C&C, Giant Citizen Kubato or anything else. Older games we can LAN via something like GameRanger.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Suggested Games.

Unreal Trounament
Quake 1/2/3
Star Wars Jedi Academy
Counter Strike 1.6
Star Wars Battlefront 2
Star Wars Republic Commando
Call of Duty 4
Call of Duty 2
Warcraft 3
Red Alert 2

Stokkies count me in, I am up for playing anything in my steam library. I cant buy any games to play for this specifically tho

That's a great idea! Unfortunately I have to sit out but I hope this becomes something big and that you guys have a lot of fun.

This LAN is in no way associated or endorsed by me.... :D :p

Damn, would be nice to play some Quake 1 or 2, but yeah, some old time classics would be awesome!

Why limit it to virtual LAN? I see that a lot of people own Payday 2 and Left 4 Dead 2.

I think doing MyGaming game nights or something like that, twice a month (or more?) would be fun. Perhaps Jan can help out with some announcements on the main page? Personally, I've always wanted to play Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, but the SA community is dead as can be so I never ended up buying the game.

I remember that there was a local Steam group that did something similar with UT2004, but I think it faded away as the creator lost interest.

Yeah we don't have to limit it to LAN games. I just figured its a good starting point to get this going as more people will be able to play some of the older titles.
