So i decided to play with Gaige again. Deathtrap is a boss. (Fuck Krieg, Wlad)

Got passed flynt now and made it to sanctuary. I actually find the game easier alone. I also played it co op. Enemies go down much easier alone. Got flynts pistol and im just rolling with that now. Elemental damage for the win. Im level 8 now.

I also remember how much i hate driving in this game. I also cant wait to get lost on the map going forward. But its all part of it.

I love this game and im so glad i am playing it again.

When there are 4 Goliaths all rampaging at once, you either live long enough to try and kill a GODliath, or you kill them ASAP.

What a fun game. Really enjoyed my little bit of time I got to play it. Krieg is amazing. I die like a lot still, but at least I die in a flurry!

ok the game is easier now. turns out the reason I was dying so much in the beginning was because of my weapon :(

lvl 12 and on my way to rescue Roland now

I'm enjoying the main story. I think Jack is my favourite part of it. The voice acting for him is outstanding.

Also he reminds me a bit of Sterling Archer.

So are there particular rules that govern what elemental to use against its counter part. Like if I am up against a fire monster do I use corrosion? And if I am fighting Robots is shock the best to use against them?

Also what are all the elementals Shock, Fire, Corrosion and?

The variety in the game is really fun. I've finally gotten to a stage where I can ignore most weapons just laying about. At one stage I was constantly checking stat of every weapon.
I got a really good acid shield anyone touches me gets corrosion damage.

Yup you got to make sure you keep trading up your guns as you level. I robbed a stage coach and he had some nice weapons way above my current lvl.

Did not play as much as I hoped to thanx to real life.

Was fun replaying the old maps, tried to join some people but the lag seemed a tad to much to make it fun for me. Else Nothing rocks like fire & forget turrents.

From what I can see, shock is most effective against shields, corrosion is most effective against armoured targets (goldish health bar), and fire is most effective against flesh (unarmoured and unshielded).

yeah it was a decent slag weapon. but it turned out it had a side effect where it would slag me while holding it...

Ah that makes sense now.

What is slag? I seen a gun with it but I needed a fire weapon at the time so I skipped it.
Although I must do that gun shop guys misson still so maybe he'll explain it.
Spoiler: show
Just as soon as I get back in to Sanctuary, just picked up the lunar beacon so I am nearly back.

But when you did play, you saved my arse against that symbiosis dwarf! Thanks for that one! :D

Slag is a by product or eridium, with use in weapons it serves as an method to lower the defenses of enemies and make them more susceptible to other damage types.

Slagging a robot will let it take double damage with a corrosive weapon. Slag is really not useful until you are almost at the end of TVHM and you will need slag weapons when you start UVHM. Even weapons that do 20k damage are worthless without slag.
