So, last week I think on voting day, I managed to sneak in some game time, and thanks to czc and Jan, I finished the game!!! But I have some reservations...

Spoiler: show
The lead up to the fight with Jack and with the Warrior is painful. Absolutely brutal. I firstly tried myself but died constantly and consistently. Even when the dream team assembled I was still going down and needed a res rather frequently. But with Jack and the Warrior, nothing. No deaths, no res, just point and shoot. I mean those fights are pretty cool, but the challenge was lost a bit for me.

Lemme know if you want a partner in crime to play it, I still need to finish it and wont mind starting it again

Tx will let you know when I start it up.

Yeah I didn't die on that mission, getting in , I died a bunch. Of course my deathtrap take a lot of the aggro but still it did feel a little too easy solo. And I wasn't overleveled or anything.

I need to get around to finishing this playthrough but Warframe has taken over my life again.

Haha. I wish I could. CANNOT RESIST.

It's so bad now that I'm playing on both PC and PS4. I literally stop playing on PS and then immediately start up on PC.

Ok that needs an intervention, I over did the Warframe thing, I cant play it at all currently

Haha, when last did you play? I stopped playing for about a year and only started again two weeks ago. Much has changed, it almost feels like a new game and it has reinvigorated my love for the game.

On topic. I will try take a break from my new addiction and get some time into BL2 this week. Until when do you have to finish for the challenge.

Hey dude, it was good fun. I agree with your spoiler point of view. Maybe it was our weapons?

Maybe... This is a typical problem I've faced as a DM. That said, I also remember going down a few times in that final battle so maybe it was just a matter of enemies not focusing on one guy?

When setting up a D&D session it is always tricky to balance the encounter difficulty, because you never know for sure what the players are going to bring to the fight. You can take an educated guess, but players always surprise you.

In the final battle with the three of us, for instance, I remember going down twice thanks to adds - extra crystalisks and whatnot in the fight.

I reckon it's because of the map design. There is no "hanging back", unlike the approach to the final battle where DieGrootHammer (Psycho) was always in front while czc (Commando) and I (Siren) could focus on shooting the stuff that was shooting at him.

However, on the final map the enemies split their attention between the 3 of us.

A few other random thoughts: if we had a Zer0 on overwatch in that final approach, I think DieGrootHammer would have gone down less.

Also, when we had Wyvern's Deathtrap the first time we played the final battle the adds were't a problem at all and we could just focus on the boss(es).

I think the developers realized after that point int the game, the last thing you want is to struggle further. Playing in TVMH is still a nightmare until the final battle where it is a breeze.

Anyone still playing? Remember to keep posting in the thread to be in contention for an award should there be one.

I'm still playing on and off, but I've lost my drive to finish the game now. This is the second time it happens with BL2. Guess this is why I never played Pre-Sequel.

I'll see if I manage to finish it before the end of the month :)

Where are you at the moment?

I'm also still trying to finish it (for the mygame challenge, have finished it many times before), but my coop partners have abandoned me. :(

I will probably just go on without them and finish it sometime this week, I NEED that forum award. [emoji14]
