I have the game on steam total play time 53minutes, maybe I should give it a go

So what class will you guys pick to start off with?

I'm going to go with the cleric since it's the class I used previously when I didn't finish the game and um in most games where I can pick a cleric or paladin I tend to go for those classes.
 
I might go with the Sorcerer or Pyromancer. I haven't gone with a magic build in the souls games yet. Think it's time for a change :D.

Downloaded dsfix now I have to get the xbox controller up and running just doing a test run tonight with keyboard and mouse

Something is not right it runs like absolute crap maybe 20fps in the jail cell right at the beginning

You'll need Wulf's DSCM mod to kickstart the online component
You can use the latest SteamID's in this thread as a kickstart but I presume we're all going to play together so I suggest we stick to Cape Town - South Africa download region (steam > settings > download > download region > cape town - south africa)

Add my Steam ID with the mod running: 01100001096e5b84
You'll be shown your ID when you open the mod after Dark Souls is running. Post them here so I can add you.

You'll also need PVP watchdog to see how many people i.e nodes you're connected to

So, over the weekend, as I stated, I just checked to see if the game is running and got to grips with the game. Seeing as I have never even played a second of any Dark Souls game, I was quite nervous and wanted some practice...two hours later I had to force me away from the game...

I get it, I totally get why people love this series so much.
