[MyGame] Dark Souls

Im still in undead fucking burg. Still trying to kill the asylum demon. Using the time to practice my parry skills. But i have rage guit again. Im going to wimpy to calm down. Ill be back. Also dark souls is one of the games that does not support the DS4. Bummer.

I dont know why i find it so much harder this time. When i played it for the first time i found it much easier. Now i cant get past this goddamn asylum demon.

Eish, I summoned someone to help me. The person I summoned basically killed it on his own.

Nice. I still have to figure out how to kill (or even hit) Seath. I've died twice from Seath filling the whole floor with crystal spikes of death. Notes left on the ground said to use the ring - I thought they meant the ring that makes your movement silent, because Seath is blind, but that didn't work.

So I'll have to make another plan.

Destroy the crystal that's keeping him alive. Logan or whatever the guy with the hat is called tells you that when you talk to him in the library. Then just get up close and smack Seath. I don't know what ring the people are talking about.

Well now, who knew you couldn't kill the fucking dragon in the first room you encounter him in :|
I ran there several times, tried shooting all kinds of crystals with a bow; nothing.

Decided fuck it, I'm going to the Crystal Cave, I'll come back and kill him later. Oh look, the same dragon again, with a shiny staff looking thing. Still regen-ing hp? Let's destroy the staff thing. That works!

I haven't killed him yet though, because I keep going behind him and then he murders me with a tail spin thing, even though I know not to. I quit for now, guess my mind isn't in it.

You'll get it right. Also go with curse resistant gear. I just went to the side of him and kept attacking this one tentacle and it worked quite well.

I'm still in New Londo. Unfortunately haven't had much time to play today. Will take it on again tomorrow evening because my wifey wants the tv now.

Yeah I went again a bit earlier and killed it. I just used my curse resist ring and stayed with my normal armor.

I'm now busy with the Demon Ruins, I killed the Ceaseless Discharge (quite easy fight) and I'm now infront of the next boss fight, I think.

A curse resist ring? I think I may have missed that one. Luckily my normal armour has got quite good curse resist.

Are you going to wait a bit before you start Dark Souls 2 or will you continue with that? My wifey gave me Dark Souls 2 for my birthday but after the first one I'm going to take a bit of a break.

Yeah I picked it up somewhere, but I can't remember where that was. It was quite handy in that fight, I never got cursed but I surely would have without it.

I have no idea how far I am. I'm doing Demon Ruins now, then there is still Lost Izalith, Oolacile (or something), and I think there are more still, not sure.

I can't really make up my mind. On one hand I might want to try New Game+ for DS1, on the other I want to start/continue DS2. I also thought about a break from DS, but I'm afraid I might lose my skills if I do that which will make DS2 more difficult again to start with.

I played some last night and killed two bosses in the Demon Ruins, Demon Firesage and the Centipede Demon. Both of them were quite easy and I killed them on the second go.

Haha it does! I've been finishing a couple of games a month up until Dark Souls. I've been playing it exclusively and didn't finish any games during the period.

Awesome! Of all the people who started out we are only a few who are still in it and even fewer who will finish. But that's part of the challenge I suppose.

Awesome. That was quite a tricky fight but not that bad. I did end up playing some last night and I cleared Lost Izalith (sort of). I tried the boss once and then went to sleep, but it looks to be a tricky fight as well - it is also quite a run from the bonfire.

I played for an hour last night. Most of the hour was trying to beat the Four Kings. Once I got the gist of it it wasn't too bad but died so many times before that happened.

Then I went and killed Seaseless Discharge. Only died once from him luckily. And that was the hour!

I'm primarily a miracle user and with these enemies I just don't get the time to do miracles so I have to take them on with my sword. It took a while but finally managed to kill it.

Oh and there was an update for the XBone version yesterday. I don't know if I'm imagining it but the game is a lot smoother now.

Cool beans. I think it might be my sword that is making the game easier, I don't know. I have a +5 Dark Knight Greatsword. That coupled with the Greatshield of Artorias which blocks really well with high stability and I can face most melee attacks without worry. Magic can still be troublesome.

I still have to kill the Bed of Chaos, will see if I can get to him over the weekend.

I used to use the Claymore, which I took to Lightning +5 but once I gained enough strength for the Black Knight sword I started using it and I am so damn glad I did. It wrecks things.

Well I'm still trying. Finally got past the Gargoyles by myself. What really helped was editing the DSfix file to enable 60fps, the game feels so much more responsive now.

I had some fun with jolly cooperation this morning when a guy helped me with the Demon Centipede. We worked so well as a team. Then I made my way through Lost Izalith and finally had to take on the Bed of Chaos. It took me over an hour to kill that thing! It's crazy hard! When I finally made it I was so happy. Or actually I was so relieved! And now I have all the Lord Souls!
